Christine M. Shea-Simmons Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

It is with profound sadness that the family of Christine M. Shea-Simmons announces her passing on May 18th, 2022 at the age of 58. She was born on June 20th, 1962 in Cohoes, NY the daughter of Constance M Shea. Christine resided in Troy, NY and was retired from New York State’s Department of S.U.N.Y after 35 years of service. She loved her large family and enjoyed all the many get togethers, visiting with all her nieces and nephews. Christine will be missed and remembered for her kindness and generosity she had for her friends and family. She was not just a sister, but a best friend to us all and she will be greatly missed. Christine was predeceased by her mother Constance M Shea and her husband George Simmons. She is survived by her sisters, Constance Shea, Kathleen Shea, Kelly Wilson-Mackin (Jay), Dawn Wilson-Esposito (Nick), her brother Scott Wilson, nieces and nephews Marsino Zandri II, Morgan Murdza, Victoria Land, Kayleigh Mackin, Ryan Mackin, Great niece Nayeliz Padilla and her dear friend and sister in-law Patty Wagner Bova. The family will have a small gathering to celebrate Christine’s life at her home in Troy, NY on Saturday June 4th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for directions please call 518-763-8290.
