Cohoes, NY Rose (Rosie) Valenti, 83, Longtime resident of Cohoes, N.Y., passed away peacefully on November 3rd, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband Frank of 66 years. Children Michael Valenti (Beth) of Matthews, Va., Frank Valenti (Robin) of Wynantskill, Greg Valenti of Norfolk, VA., Nick Valenti (Lisa) of Troy, Tina Valenti Arnold (Jerry) of Cohoes. Grandchildren Michael Valenti, Brenda Mackey Muller, Christina Valenti Skinnerup, Corrie Valenti Grosso, Jenna Valenti Kehl, Gina Valenti Arana, Nicole Valenti Pratt, Nick Valenti, Marissa Valenti, Tiffany Valenti, Rick Borecki, Andrea Borecki, James Rush, 11 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces & Nephews. Also survived by her sister Carolyn (Jo) Leeson of Poquoson , V.A. Predecesed by Mother Lillian (Topping) Pelesz, Father Larkie Lee Vaughn, Stepfather Willard Pelesz. She was born at Old Dixie Hospital Hampton, VA. Rose Was a Cohoes High School Alumni. She loved to travel to visit Special Friends and family in Atlanta GA., Mobile Alabama, and Florida. Rose was a proud member of The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Partners in hope for St. Judes, and Cohoes ELKS. She loved gardening and hosting Parties in her yard and especially hosting Christmas Eve Celebrations. Private Memorial Service will be held at Marra Funeral Home, 246 Remsen St. Cohoes. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetary Waterford, N.Y. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Rosies Life, will be held at a later date, and time to be determined. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Rosies favorite charity, St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
